About Us

I began my working life in animal management & agriculture then swiftly moved to a career in construction estimating & quantity surveying. After several years of being trapped in the office dealing with building subcontractors and deciphering construction details I decided to break out of the routine and go travelling. This led me to exploring the amazing and diverse wildlife of Australia, Asia & South America.

On returning home to Yorkshire with a rekindled passion for the natural environment, the company Emerge Ecology was born, in doing so has enabled me to combine both of my previous backgrounds and will allow me to spearhead improving my knowledge of the UK fauna & flora.

Located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Emerge Ecology has started the 2023 season as a single subcontractable surveyor.

With use of only a single surveyor, the company will be mainly undertaking services in order to help collect survey data, in addition to serving as an extra surveyor to alleviate the risks of Health & Safety when working alone in remote or hazardous areas.
